StretchLab Yaletown is growing and looking for a Registered Kinesiologists to join our team our Flexologist team

About the role:

As a Flexologist, you will provide one-on-one assisted stretches for our guests and members. This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience in a new modality that is taking the fitness and wellness industry by storm.

We are looking for additional team members to join the newly launched (and rapidly growing) studio.

Minimum of 25 hours per week:

6 to 7-hour shifts (1pm to close) on a consistent basis

Saturday shifts required

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions (25 or 50 minute) Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions Develop and manage customized, 12+ week flexibility programs Accurately document sessions in studio software (SOAP) Ensure safety of clients with proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations Handle member concerns when applicable Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele Help with maintaining strong social media presence to client membership and retention Clean and maintain work area and studio cleanliness

Qualifications:

Registered Kinesiologists (BCAK)

Must be available to complete Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of self-paced online education and 2 days of local in-person/hands-on training (November 15 & 16) Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with client Ability to create a positive environment that welcomes all people Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies
