Strategist
As a strategist you will report to the Strategy Director. You bring key strategic thinking and guidance to our team. You'll be comfortable communicating your findings to varying audiences--from your lead to the creative team. You're skilled in business analysis, qualitative consumer research, and brand and campaign strategy. Most importantly, you live and breathe insights -- about a client's business, their competitors, and their customers.

What you'll do
Partner with internal teams to run quantitative and qualitative research that uncovers meaningful insight
Monitor social listening and performance data to spot patterns, traction, and real opportunities
Synthesize research into sharp insights and write creative briefings that give teams clear direction
Dive deep into clients, categories, and competitors to understand what's happening and why it matters
Break down competitive best practices and build benchmarks that help guide decision-making
Audit brand ecosystems across digital touchpoints and evaluate what's working (and what's falling flat)
Identifying where and how to connect to trends, and consumer motivations and behaviours to strengthen a client's presence and marketing mix
Work across multidisciplinary teams to shape and implement strategy from idea to execution
Plan and execute research activities: stakeholder interviews, consumer research, competitive analyses, and more
Turn data into stories by communicating findings clearly to clients and internal teams
Provide strong strategic POVs that help clients understand their direction and potential
Co-create brand and digital strategy with the team, ensuring clarity and consistency across deliverables
Define measurement strategies that help evaluate and evolve brand and digital performance
Show clients the value of strategy through smart thinking, clear rationale, and effective storytelling
Bring thought leadership to the table across research, consumer insight, measurement, and planning
What you'll need to succeed
Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in strategy, brand planning, business analysis, qualitative research or equivalent
2-3 Experience in an advertising agency
Experience developing and presenting proposals and presentations for clients
Ability to communicate complex subject matter, both verbally and written
Ability to turn insights into clear narratives and actionable recommendations
Experience with qualitative and ethnographic research, driving the creation and implementation of digital design personas
Experience in marketing research and sciences to establish and analyze complex studies
Comfortable collaborating with colleagues at all levels
Strong multi-tasking and flexibility skills
Curiosity, hunger to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
A mix of analytical and creative thinking. Someone who can bridge data and ideas
The ability to spot what feels real, compelling, and culturally relevant
Comfort working in a fast-paced, fun, brains-on environment
