This role requires a keen analytical mind, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to optimize the supply chain and drive cost savings.
This position manages RFx\'s, suppliers, and collects and analyzes data related to the products and services of the company. The Analyst will develop insight and expertise in the categories managed over time. This position requires a self-motivated person.

  • Supports the NAM team in the procurement of goods and services for across the laboratory category to ensure they are in line with the Global Procurement policy
  • Leads and supports sourcing projects through a formalized process
  • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service
  • Supports the development of category strategies and partners with key stakeholders to review policies and procedures related to sourcing, negotiations, and contract execution
  • Supports direct and indirect cost reduction by negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost savings
  • Lead sourcing initiatives, including RFQs, RFPs, and negotiations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals
  • Manages the RFx\'s process utilizing eProcurement tools
  • Conducts bench marketing analysis to ensure cost are in line with market conditions
  • Develops new supply sources where suppliers are no longer competitive
  • Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures
  • Facilitates supplier relationship and performance reviews to guarantee accomplishments of the business need
  • Collaborates with Business Units to influence supplier engagement
  • Reviews supplier reporting to validate contractual Service Level Agreements (SLA)s are being met
  • Reviews and monitors supplier issues
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) is required
  • A post-secondary education (degree and/or diploma) in a related program is an asset
  • 3- 5 years of procurement related experience required
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred.
  • Ability to think long-term and develop innovative sourcing strategies
  • Meticulous attention to detail in analyzing data and managing supplier relationships
  • Focused on achieving measurable results and driving continuous improvement
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
  • Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, virtual and dynamic environment
  • Results driven and seeks to improve the business needs without constate management
  • Must be detail oriented and comfortable working on your own initiative
  • Excellent MS Office Excel skills, including creating and manipulating pivot tables
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Familiarity with eSourcing and e-buying tools, SharePoint
  • Analysis and Problem Solving - Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives
  • Team work - Ability to work collaboratively with both suppliers and key stakeholders. To influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Customer Focus - Ability to provide excellent customer service, identifying, understanding and meeting internal/external stakeholder expectations
