Job Description


As a Strategic Solutions Manager in our Driver and Vehicle (D&V) group, you will be responsible for growing and developing our market and industry knowledge, building and developing effective subject matter content, and advising business team leaders. In this role you\'ll be a valued and collaborative member of the team that addresses the market strategy, value creation, offering management, and marketing communication needs of the D&V business unit.

What You Will Do
  • Capture, manage and analyze market, competitor, and industry information, identifying trends and advancing key insights that improve our value proposition and competitive approach;
  • Guide and collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams to conduct R&D and launch market led solutions;
  • Build, develop and deliver engaging presentations, content and marketing communication materials that resonate with customers and stakeholders;
  • Provide sales support to account and pursuit leaders, as an expert in promoting our offering and value proposition effectively through various modes of communication;
  • Guide and contribute to Request for Proposal (RFP) responses led by our Business Development team, in collaboration with SMEs and Proposal Writers;
  • Contribute to engagements with customers and industry contacts;
  • Lead and/or contribute to new initiatives as identified by the Director of Strategic Marketing or the Vice President & General Manager; and
  • Various other duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience
  • University degree in business, communications, or STEM field
  • 5+ years of professional experience (preferably in business development or marketing)
  • Experience in writing proposal response content for government RFPs (asset)
  • Experience in developing marketing/communications assets and content (asset)
  • Knowledge of the identification technology and/or secure credential solutions industry (asset)
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in MS 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Superior analytical skills (analysis, problem-solving, strategic thinking)
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent organization/time-management/prioritization skills
  • Self-directed (independent, self-motivated, entrepreneurial mind-set)
  • Authentic customer-focused approach
Mandatory Requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance.
  • Ability to travel internationally (mostly within North America) approx. 6-10 weeks per year
