Position Overview:
The Strategic Planning Senior Manager is responsible for driving the development, execution, and monitoring of organizational strategies that align with the company's vision and goals. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, conducting market and industry analysis, and identifying growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills to foster collaboration and ensure the successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Development:
Collaborate with executive leadership to define the company's long-term vision and objectives.
Develop, refine, and prioritize strategic plans that align with business goals and market opportunities.
Market Analysis:
Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and industry trend assessments.
Identify risks and opportunities to inform decision-making and strategic investments.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Partner with departments such as finance, operations, marketing, and sales to implement strategies effectively.
Facilitate workshops, planning sessions, and strategy reviews to ensure alignment across the organization.
Performance Monitoring:
Establish KPIs and metrics to track the success of strategic initiatives.
Provide regular updates and recommendations to senior leadership on progress and adjustments needed.
Change Management:
Lead organizational change efforts required for strategy implementation.
Develop communication plans and stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure buy-in.
Team Management:
Manage and mentor a team of analysts and planners, fostering professional development.
Encourage a culture of innovation, critical thinking, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
Experience:
7-10 years of experience in strategic planning, management consulting, or corporate strategy roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
Skills:
Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and forecasting.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Leadership and project management expertise.
Preferred Competencies:
Experience in Aerospace, Automotive.
Familiarity with strategic planning tools and methodologies.
Proficiency in financial modeling and business case development.
