About this opportunity:

The Strategic HR Partnership Team is seeking a highly motivated and organized Strategic HR Projects Partner to join their team. In this role, you will provide operational support to the Director of Strategic HR Partnerships and the Strategic HR Business Partners (SHRBPs). This is an exciting opportunity to gain extensive expertise in all aspects of human resources and contribute to a collaborative HR team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director and the SHRBPs on confidential projects, providing administrative support and coordination. This includes developing PowerPoint presentations, briefing notes for key partners, creating employee letters in collaboration with the People Services team, preparing speaking notes for leaders, and arranging meetings with leaders and employees.
  • Support with Operational Management Team requirements and projects
  • Provide administrative support to the Organizational Effectiveness and Organizational Change Management Specialist for facilitation requests and material build out.
  • Review and enhance current processes, ensuring optimized efficiency and productivity throughout the organization.
  • Create and distribute communication materials, including email communication, on behalf of the SHRBPs.
  • Participate in the SHRBP strategic planning process and provide support on various projects and initiatives as required.
  • Conduct research and apply HR knowledge to assigned project deliverables, collaborating with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and stakeholders when necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of project documentation and plans.
  • Assist SHRBPs with new hires, including documentation, onboarding, and training requirements.
  • Prepare executive summaries and reports for senior leadership
Qualifications:
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Degree in a Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar field
  • 3-5 years working in human resources or consulting/advisory services
  • Proven experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
  • Experience in budget management
  • Ability to translate complex business plans/strategy into end user content
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
  • Great teammate with the ability to work under minimal direction to meet deadlines, goals and objectives
