Position Summary




We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Stores Attendant to fill a position at the Hospital.



In accordance with the established mission, vision, values and strategic priorities of Northern Health and under the general supervision of the Manager, Site Administrator or designate, the Stores Attendant utilizes computerized systems for shipping and receiving goods, filling orders, transporting supplies and materials in a single or multi-site operation, performing and verifying inventory levels and maintaining all related documentation and records. Promote public safety when goods are being handled, offered for transport or transported, applying appropriate safety protocols.

Qualifications




Grade 12 plus one (1) year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.


Skills and Abilities:




Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to deal with others effectively. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position. Ability to organize work. Ability to operate related equipment. Valid BC. drivers' license.
