POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for an energetic individual to join the Pan Pacific Vancouver. Under the general guidance and supervision of the Storeroom Team Leader, the Storeroom Runner is responsible for the daily operations of the storeroom and to ensure the proper inventory of all items.####

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities of the Storeroom Runner include, but are not limited to:
Delivers Storeroom goods (food & beverage items) to all areas in the Hotel Fills out and is responsible for requisition forms Maintains the cleanliness and sanitation standards of the Storeroom Liaise with the Chefs and the Storeroom Assists others within the Storeroom and Kitchen in the storing of food and non-food items, and in ensuring that all items are received in good order and properly rotated (FIFO) Assists with receiving food and non-food items, recording incoming and outgoing goods Assists with maintaining records for incoming item,s including purchase orders, guest boxes and items issued Ensures all duties on the task list are completed Perform other job-related duties and special projects as assigned

This position requires pushing and pulling heavy carts and other equipment within the storeroom, kitchen, and interdepartmentally as needed for operations.
####As verbal communication and observation between associates occur frequently, the ability to hear and see is essential to the incumbent's and their work colleagues' safety.

Qualifications and Technical Experience
Must possess excellent organizational skills, time management and an ability to multitask & meet deadlines in a high-pressure work environment Basic knowledge of Food Safe * Must be fluent in English, both in verbal and written communication.
