Store Sales Specialist

Job Description

Store Sales Specialist - Full timeKey Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate customer needs and propose solutions
  • Color and match paint products
  • Make sure the store is clean and well stocked
  • Lift, move and store the product from the store in accordance with the safety instructions.
  • Work in a retail environment with in-store responsibilities
Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Computer and internet proficiency
  • Retail sales and customer service experience
  • Ability to work flexible sales hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 40-70lbs.
About Work:
  • Provide timely and effective administrative support to a sales team, unit, or department.
  • Process sales and invoices so customer orders are dispatched, invoiced, and paid accurately, on time.
  • Draft sales documentation, proposals, reports, and correspondence such as sales contracts and maintenance agreements.
  • Make standard calculations to accurately compile and report statistics.
  • Perform background research on customer accounts, prospects, competitors, and industry trends to support the sales team's activities.
  • Answer internal and customer inquires on product availability, prices, delivery times, and the status of orders so that inquiries are dealt with promptly and accurately.
  • Communicate with staff from other areas in the organization, such as production, warehouse, transport, or distribution, to confirm the status of orders and resolve customer complaints.
  • Use databases or other computerized systems to maintain current customer records; track the status of orders and deliveries; maintain sales commission and expense records; and generate sales reports and statistics.
  • Typically requires two to four years of experience.
  • Typically reports to the Sales Administration Manager.
