Position Summary
The In-Store Sales Representative is responsible for engaging walk-in customers, identifying their heating and cooling needs, and recommending suitable Kepler HVAC and heat pump solutions. This role plays a key part in driving retail sales performance, delivering exceptional customer experience, and representing the Kepler brand at the store level.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Engagement & Sales
Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner
Understand customer needs related to heating, cooling, and hot water solutions
Present and recommend Kepler heat pumps, furnaces, and HVAC products
Explain product features, energy efficiency benefits, warranties, and rebates
Product Demonstration & Consultation
Conduct in-store product demonstrations using displays and marketing materials
Provide accurate pricing, promotions, and basic installation guidance
Support customers through the decision-making and purchasing process
Order & Follow-Up Management
Prepare sales orders and ensure accurate documentation
Coordinate with internal teams for delivery, installation, and after-sales support
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
Store Operations & Brand Representation
Maintain product displays, signage, and promotional materials
Assist with inventory checks and restocking requests
Represent Kepler's brand values and professional image at all times
Team Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with store staff, territory sales managers, and technical teams
Participate in product training, sales meetings, and promotional events
Track leads, conversions, and sales performance metrics
Qualifications & RequirementsRequired
High school diploma or equivalent
1+ year of retail or in-store sales experience
Strong communication and customer service skills
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
Preferred
Experience in HVAC, heat pumps, appliances, or building materials
Basic understanding of heating and cooling systems
Ability to explain technical products in a simple and customer-friendly way
Experience working with homeowners, contractors, or builders

Monthly sales revenue and unit targets
