Tasks

Manage staff and assign duties Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses Determine staffing requirements Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers Train, direct and motivate staff Train staff Stock shelves and display areas Sell merchandise Schedule staff Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand Perform administrative tasks Order merchandise Operate cash register Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques Balance and deposit cash Food safety/handling skills Professionalism in customer service Arrange product according to planogram Stock shelves and clean counter area Greet customers Handle cash transactions Organize and maintain inventory Clean work area Complete report sheets Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
