Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our retail operations. The ideal candidate will oversee daily store activities, manage staff, and ensure excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management to drive sales and maintain operational excellence.

Duties

Supervise and motivate store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employee performance Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities Manage POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed store targets Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Monitor store operations to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and training sessions Manage inventory control to optimize profitability Coordinate marketing efforts and promotional activities to attract new customers

Skills

Strong leadership with proven supervisory and team management experience Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service expertise Organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control, merchandising, and scheduling Experience in retail sales management, shift management, and marketing strategies is a definite asset Competent in budgeting, cash handling, pricing strategies, and retail math calculations Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently while overseeing multiple responsibilities Experience in a health food store or retail environment is preferred
