We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic manager to oversee daily operations at nutrition house Oshawa Centre. The ideal applicant will have a thorough understanding of natural health products, great leadership qualities and outstanding communication abilities.
This role involves carrying out store specific action plans and directing all activities within the store ensuring that customer service standards and performance targets are achieved and priorities are aligned with overall store and region strategy. The manager will coach, motivate, and develop your team in order to foster customer loyalty, satisfy customer needs, and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer involvement.
Key Responsibilities
Provides exceptional customer service, helping customers with questions, locating items, and providing guidance on supplements, health and beauty, and other products.
Effective management of store team performance.
Cultivating a healthy and motivating work environment.
Maintains an in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and other health and beauty items in the department.
Ensures maximum productivity and efficiency through proper scheduling.
Helps to achieve required sales, margin and budgets, maximizing store profitability while controlling expenses.
Maintains proper merchandising, product assortment, and inventory control to avoid out of stocks and overstocks.
Ensures all inferior out of code products are not sold and removed from display.
Receive, price and merchandise products appropriately.
Qualifications/Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent supplemented with college courses in nutrition such as Natural Health, Nutrition, Sports Nutrition, Naturopathy, or Homeopathy is an asset.
1-2 years of experience in a natural health retail environment.
Strong understanding of natural health products.
Exceptional leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
Clear and effective communication skills.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.
Experience in customer service, especially in a retail environment is an asset.
