Overview of the Role:
As the Store Manager, you'll be at the heart of the store operations, making sure everything runs smoothly and our goals are met. You'll lead your team with enthusiasm, offering guidance and support to help everyone shine. You'll be the go-to person for creating an environment where everyone feels welcome and appreciated. From day-to-day operations to long-term planning, you'll manage every aspect of the store with a focus on excellence and teamwork to meet your sales targets and maintain your KPI standards. Your leadership will inspire others to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve their best. Plus, you'll keep open lines of communication with the Regional Manager to share insights and updates. Through your dedication and positive attitude, you'll help create a vibrant, successful store that both customers and employees love.
What You'll be Doing:
Effectively running all store operations and activities, ensuring it supports Henry's to achieve its goals
Provide leadership and guidance to all staff helping them to reach their goals
Set an example by demonstrating superior communication and customer service skills
Create an environment where employees feel valued
Ensure timely communication of product knowledge, systems training, merchandising techniques and issues of security to all employees
Responsible for hiring, orientation, and on-the-job training of all new employees
Employee coaching and performance management
Prepare in advance, lists of tasks to be accomplished during any foreseen absence (i.e., day off or holidays)
Conduct weekly group meetings to discuss ideas, new product information, current or upcoming retail promotions and any additional retail initiatives
Review and communicate sales statistics to each employee to direct and promote positive selling efforts
Continually keep lines of communication open with senior management
Review daily report summaries
Ensure completion of payroll & paid time off records
Review all store statistics and maintain up to date records on a monthly basis
What you Bring:
3+ years experience in retail management , customer service, sales, retail, retail sales, over the counter shopping, store management, customer support, and sales management is required
Excellent communication skills
Good understanding of the products and services offered at Henry's
Excellent interpersonal skills; able to make a personal and genuine connection with customers and your team.
Experience working with D365 (Not mandatory but preferred.)
Able to identify problems and a solution to them while maintaining a positive attitude
Interested in learning new things and acting as a coach to empower your team
