Description

  • The manager operates with integrity, promoting the company culture, values, and vision. Their role involves overseeing day-to-day store operations to ensure the business is positioned for sustainable financial growth while delivering exceptional vision care and customer service.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage all store staff, setting daily goals for the workgroup and coaching team members to achieve these targets.
  • Implement and enforce new policies, protocols, and procedures established by the company.
  • The manager ensures that the store is up to date with aged receivables and undelivered orders, making certain that all daily closings and bank deposits are completed accurately.
  • Lead scheduled inventory counts throughout the year and are actively involved in organizing in-store events to enhance clinic, store, and brand awareness.
  • Guarantees that frame displays are consistently stocked and that products are merchandised effectively to provide customers with an outstanding experience, maximizing both Average Order Value (AOV) and conversion rates.
  • Approach problem-solving with an entrepreneurial mindset, taking initiative, asking questions, and generating positive outcomes through a combination of proactive and analytical behaviour.
  • The manager creates the store's staffing schedule on a monthly basis.
  • Focus on developing talent through orientation and training for all team members, handling customer escalations, assessing and addressing customer complaints, and acting as a liaison to resolve concerns.
  • Possesses knowledge of various lens products, including the company's own, as well as frame products, enabling them to educate and better assist customers.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Director of Operations to provide updates on the store's performance and operations.
Requirements

  • Experience in the optical field (an asset);
  • You will act as an ambassador by professionally representing the brand
  • Great attitude towards customer service
  • You have excellent computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Able to execute on timelines and expectations autonomously;
  • You have strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess the ability to remain calm under pressure;
  • You are self-motivated with a passion for the optical industry
  • Committed to driving sales and lead the team to achieve individual and store targets;
  • Strong organization and planning skills, and an ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously; and possess strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to plan and prioritize.
  • You have an interest in style and fashion;
  • Can work a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends and some holidays.
