Operations Manager - Hope Thrift Store (Morden, MB)
Hope Thrift Store is seeking a motivated and organized Operations Manager to lead day-to-day retail operations and support our mission of serving the community. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, improving systems, and creating an exceptional customer and volunteer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily store operations including sales floor, receiving, pricing, processing, and merchandising.
Lead, coach, and schedule staff and volunteers to ensure a productive and positive workplace culture.
Track sales performance and implement process improvements to support revenue growth and efficiency.
Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and customer-friendly shopping environment.
Ensure strong customer service and represent the store professionally with shoppers, donors, and community partners.
Complete administrative tasks including reporting, budgeting support, and policy compliance.
Qualifications
Leadership experience in retail, operations, a non-profit environment or Christian faith-based ministry
Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Proven ability to coach and motivate a team.
Positive, solution-focused mindset and experience working in a fast-paced setting.
Assets (preferred but not required)
Experience in thrift or second-hand retail
Familiarity with shopify, social media, online sales, retail sales,
Experience improving workplace processes or systems
Schedule
Full-time, Tuesday to Saturday with Sunday and Monday off.
