We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to join our team in a fast-paced Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen restaurant environment. The Shift Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during their shift, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff members. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to maintain high standards of food safety and quality. The Manager will play the key role in the operation of our restaurant. The Restaurant Shift Manager / Manager has the overall responsibility for:
Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Manage team performance by training, coaching, and mentoring staff to enhance their skills and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant.
Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
Maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
Directing the daily operations of a restaurant
Ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation including: product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, recruiting and retention of team members, financial accountability
Ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer
Other duties as required or assigned
Experience
Qualified Candidates will meet the following requirements:
Previous experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role within the food industry is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Proven customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
Experience in team management, including training and development of staff members.
Familiarity with kitchen operations and food handling.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both customers and team members.
Restaurant work experience in a supervisory position or related education and work experiences
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Good analytical and math skills to review schedule variance, labour cost and food cost
Experience in team building and training
Excellent communication skills
