Duties
Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, inventory control, and customer service to ensure smooth daily operations
Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to build a motivated and high-performing staff
Manage scheduling, and employee orientation to optimize staffing levels and operational efficiency
Oversee inventory management, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize profitability
Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an outstanding experience
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to foster employee growth and development
Conduct regular store inspections to ensure cleanliness and store safety
Ensure compliance with safety standards, store policies, and legal regulations at all times
Requirements
Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for diverse customer bases
Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math
Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff, along with employee orientation
Organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control, staffing levels and administrative tasks
Ability to handle customer service issues professionally while maintaining a positive store environment
Previous assistant manager or shift management experience preferred; strong supervisory background essential
