Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. As a Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing strategies to enhance store performance while maintaining a positive work environment.

Duties

Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. Manage inventory levels through effective purchasing and merchandising strategies. Conduct regular training and development sessions for staff to enhance their skills in customer service, sales, and product knowledge. Recruit, interview, and hire new employees while fostering a collaborative team environment. Implement marketing strategies to promote store events and increase foot traffic. Maintain an organized store layout that enhances the shopping experience for customers. Ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed by all staff members. Utilize POS systems effectively for transactions and inventory management. Monitor pricing strategies to remain competitive in the market.

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Experience in recruiting, training & development, and team management. Proficient in cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Strong organizational skills with effective time management capabilities. Familiarity with merchandising techniques and retail sales strategies. Understand the Canadian beef industry is a plus

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
