Kind Ice Cream is a women-led small business with a mission to make and serve exceptional small batch ice cream while prioritizing kindness to the environment, our team, our valued customers, and our community. Store Managers lead a team of scoopers toward the common goal of an exceptional customer experience. Managers oversee the hiring, training and ongoing performance of the team. They embody outstanding communication, leadership, and organizational abilities and are models of exceptional customer service. Managers work collaboratively with the management team to develop and implement new processes. Responsibilities, Expectations, and Authorities

• Display positivity, passion and enthusiasm for Kind Ice Cream
• Set an example by upholding our standards of professionalism, kindness, and respect
• Meet regularly with Management Team to align expectations and goals
• Provide clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to staff
• Model highest standard of customer service
• Ensure all cones, pints, and scoops are up to our quality standards and able to articulate what makes Kind Ice Cream stand apart from other ice cream
• Oversee team hiring and training
• Participate and contribute in monthly management meetings
• Ensure the shop is always clean, equipment is in good working order and any maintenance issues are brought forward to Store Manager
• Display a solution-oriented mindset
• Flexible and adtapable to implement change in a timely and positive manner
• Ensure staff are up to date and following through with new shop protocols
• Ensure staff have accurate flavour descriptions and information
