Summary



We are seeking a full-time Store Manager to be responsible for the daily operations and activities of a recreational cannabis retail store. Reporting to the General Manager, your focus is to drive sales, execute operational excellence, ensure best of class concierge-level customer service and stay fluent on all cannabis trends, regulations and product knowledge. The Store Manager directs the flow of communication, providing input to strategic plans, training and development, and oversees scheduling, inventory control, loss prevention and reinforcing policies, procedures and practices. You help deliver a consistent, exceptional customer experience to grow top-line sales and are comfortable coaching your team to meet the same high standards.

Essential Functions



Oversee all employees and the daily operations, enforcing all policies, practices and procedures, including strict compliance to provincial and federal cannabis regulations. Role model and inspire a high-performance sales team; maximizing store sales through strong retail KPI best practices and protocols. Create a supportive environment with the coaching and development of personal and team goal setting, action plans and performance management. Recruit and train sales associates to meet company and brand standards. Ensure staff schedules operate within the payroll budget and meet minimum floor coverage requirements. Provide best of class customer experience dedicated to customer loyalty and retention, empowering the staff to do the same. Provide education and training of all employees keeping them up to date with cannabis product knowledge, marketing campaigns, new launches and promotions. Maximize store sales maintaining in-depth knowledge of all inventory reporting to the Executive Management Team of any category trends/shortages that may influence inventory levels and customer fulfillment satisfaction. Enforce loss prevention, safety and security policies, credit card policies and procedures, inventory cycle counts, employee purchases, proper cash handing and deposit logs, shipping and receiving, return and exchange policies. Ensure the store is always welcoming, clean and visually merchandised in a manner consistent with the brand. Identify and build brand awareness with the development of customer and local community engagement opportunities. Effectively communicate store needs and requirements to improve P&L. Think out of the box and share ideas with Management to elevate the brand and increase market share. Protect and maintain company assets and equipment. Follow proper Sell Safe License and QCW License requirements. Provide a safe and secure environment for staff and customers; ensuring all health, safety, and security regulations are adhered to and required standards are met. Liaise with law enforcement, AGLC Inspectors and landlords as needed. Other duties as assigned by the Executive Management Team.

Must have QCW and Cannabis Sell Safe Retail and customer service experience Familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems Time Management Skills: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks Eager to learn and develop
