Are you looking for a Retail Management position in the Automotive industry with a reputable Canadian company? Kal Tire is currently celebrating our 70th year in business and we\xe2\x80\x99re growing with over 260 stores from coast to coast.

We are looking for a versatile Store Manager in Antigonish, NL. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store as you train and mentor the team at this location. As a front-line leader, you play a variety of roles in the store, from sales and service expert, to coach, administrator, manager and more.

You will develop teams, demonstrate quality leadership skills and bring an entrepreneurial spirit with exceptional drive and dedication to ensure your Kal Tire location is running in an efficient, profitable, and safe environment for team members, customers, and guests.

Job Responsibilities

• Keen willingness to learn in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Managing a team of Front Counter, Tire Technicians, Journeyperson\xe2\x80\x99s, Apprentices, and other Team Members
• Managing profit and loss statements.
• Budget and inventory management.
• Operate with confidence and sound judgment under pressure; can prioritize effectively.
• Sales - direct to our customers & B2B sales environment.
• Recruiting, retaining, and developing team members.
• Prioritizing and always putting customers first
• Lead your team by example, wear the required PPE and follow all safe work protocols.

Job Requirements

• Ability to excel in a physical environment and comfortable lifting 50lbs.
• At least 3 years of experience in managerial/ supervisory roles (preferred)
• Strong communication skills with the desire and ability to deliver outstanding customer service experiences every time.
• Safety mindset, willing to wear all required PPE, and follow all safety procedures.
• Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License
