We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to oversee daily retail operations, drive sales, and lead a team toward achieving company goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of retail management. The Store Manager will play a pivotal role in merchandising, marketing, and operational efficiency to maximize store performance.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
Recruit, interview, and train new staff members to build a competent and motivated team
Manage payroll, scheduling, and administrative tasks including bookkeeping and cash handling
Oversee merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and presentation
Implement pricing strategies and manage purchasing activities to maintain profitability
Utilize POS systems for sales transactions, inventory control, and reporting
Develop and execute marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones
Monitor sales performance and develop action plans to meet or exceed sales targets
Ensure high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in compliance with regulations
Conduct regular team meetings for training & development, performance reviews, and communication updates
Skills
Proven experience in retail management with supervising experience in a fast-paced environment
Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills
Proficiency in POS systems, bookkeeping, cash handling, and administrative tasks
Exceptional communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
Expertise in merchandising, pricing strategies, purchasing, and sales management
Effective negotiation skills for vendor relations and conflict resolution
Skilled in marketing tactics to promote store offerings effectively
Ability to manage budgets, payroll, and financial reports with strong organizational skills
Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
Customer service-oriented mindset with professional phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
Strong math skills for inventory counting and financial calculations
