The Store Manager is responsible for the overall performance, operations, and customer experience of a home health care and wellness retail location. This role leads the store team, drives sales, ensures clinical and retail compliance, and delivers exceptional service to clients seeking mobility solutions, medical supplies, and wellness products.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales associates and assistant managers
Oversee daily store operations, scheduling, inventory control, and merchandising
Drive sales performance, margins, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Ensure a high standard of customer care, particularly for clients with mobility, health, or accessibility needs
Provide knowledgeable guidance on products such as wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, bracing, bathroom safety, and daily living aids
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (e.g., ADP guidelines, privacy standards, health & safety requirements)
Manage vendor relationships, ordering, and inventory replenishment
Handle escalated customer issues with professionalism and empathy
Maintain accurate documentation, sales reporting, and cash controls
Collaborate with regional leadership or ownership on business planning and growth initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
3-5+ years of retail management experien in medical supplies, home health care, or pharmacy retail
Strong leadership, coaching, and people-management skills
Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage store profitability
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Comfort working with seniors, caregivers, and healthcare-adjacent clients
Experience with mobility or medical products
Computer proficiency (POS systems, inventory software, Microsoft Office)
