We are currently looking for a
Store Manager
who will also perform all regular sales duties. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who enjoys sales, delivers great customer service, and can manage a store with professionalism and independence.
Position: Appliance Store Manager
About the Role
The Store Manager is responsible for leading the store's daily operations while actively working as a sales associate. This includes customer service, sales, maintaining store standards, managing inventory, and ensuring smooth operational performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, open-minded, independent, and motivated.
Key Responsibilities of Store Management
Lead daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures.
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and customer-ready at all times.
Oversee inventory accuracy, product display, and merchandising.
Handle store reporting, documentation, and communication with head office.
Train, guide, and support staff when needed.
Sales & Customer Service
Serve customers by identifying needs, recommending products, and closing sales.
Represent the company professionally and ensure a positive customer experience.
Manage existing customer accounts and build strong customer relationships.
Process sales orders using company pricing lists and product information.
Follow up with customers regarding delivery, installation, or service needs.
Problem Solving & Support
Resolve customer concerns by investigating issues and offering effective solutions.
Prepare reports and provide recommendations to management.
Support team members and contribute to achieving overall store goals.
Requirements
Preferably
1+ year of retail or sales experience
(appliance industry an asset).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Independent, trustworthy, and self-motivated.
Ability to multitask and manage both sales and operational duties.
