We deliver on the company\'s strategic growth plans through the execution of the brand\'s pinnacle expression: The physical retail store.We\'re looking for a highly qualified Graphic Designer. You will be part of a dynamic creative brand team that sits within the North America Store Design department. Your creative work will directly support lululemon stores within North America. Responsible for creating environmental brand assets that come to life in the physical lululemon store.a day in the lifeYou\'ll need to have excellent design chops and manage multiple design projects simultaneously. We\'re all about relationships so you\'ll be working with some rad people across several teams, including Art Directors, Artists, Store Designers, Industrial Designers, Visual Merchandisers, Operations, leaders and external vendors to bring your work to life.

  • Assists the Art Director in establishing visual tone, character, and messages that will effectively communicate brand identity within the built environment to elevate the guest experience
  • Design, produce and coordinates the graphic and branded output for Retail Design: signage, way finding, messaging, branding and generally elevating the built environment ensuring compatibility of architecture, design and graphic functionality for optimum communication value.
  • Seeks approvals from Art director on all work before delivery to cross-functional partners.
  • Works daily with the Art Director and Project Managers to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met within priorities, timelines and budgets.
  • Supports Art Director in develop experiential or mainline design guidelines and playbook to support workstream and high-volume build programs.
  • Collaborate with local artists to produce unique custom designs that speak to local community. As well as manage and update the artist database.
  • Advises and partners with Store Designers to implement the latest brand initiatives for every store.
  • Create and evolve the visual tone, appearance, functionality, and overall aesthetic of brand creative for lululemon retail design.
  • Manage process & design protocol documents including regular updates and cross functional communication.
  • Assists in developing presentation materials for senior level alignment.
  • Support creative efforts on special projects, concepts and initiatives, collaborating cross-functionally as needed.
  • Collaborates with multi-disciplinary creative teams to share learning and experience and to establish initiatives that will improve lululemon creative vision and process.
  • Upholds and preserves lululemon\'s brand image and global design consistency.

  • B.A. Degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years minimum experience at a design agency and/or in-house design team.
  • Retail design experience with a proven portfolio.
  • A conceptual thinker that can translate ideas into innovative and crafted designs
  • Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a most.
  • Understanding of and experience in corporate branding, colour theory and typography.
  • Aspirational aesthetic, taking into account industry trends and creative leaders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate actively and proactively with others in a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Ability to effectively manage tasks of varying complexities, strong ability to drive creative project forward, meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively. Strategic thinker, comfortable ideating high-level concepts as well as coming up with detailed design executions.
  • Clear communicator with exceptional written, verbal, and superior interpersonal skills.
  • Spatial or environmental design and 3D rendering knowledge a bonus.

Authorization to work in Canada is required for this role.Compensation and Benefits Packagelululemon\'s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $66,000 - 86,600 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
