Store Associate/general Labour
Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Store Associate/General Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks to support our operations. This position offers an opportunity to work in a small local business and gain valuable experience.
Duties:
- Perform general labor duties as assigned
- Assist with loading and unloading materials (up to 40 lbs.)
- Provide customer support and guidance
- Perform cash and POS transactions
- Stocking and restocking shelves
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (French is an asset)
- Basic phone etiquette skills
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus
- Familiarity with cash register and POS systems preferred
- Able to climb and use a ladder
- Ability to learn product knowledge
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in basic math for inventory tracking
- Own transportation with G license
- This position is for steady weekends and 2 days throughout the week (daytime hours only)
