Position Overviews

Daytime Staff

Daytime team members keep the store running during our busiest hours. This role combines excellent customer service with the responsibility of completing important daily tasks during quieter moments. It's well suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, but who can also recognize when to prioritize stocking, cleaning, and upkeep.

Backshift Staff

Backshift team members are the backbone of our store operations. While customer traffic is lighter overnight, this shift is just as important, focusing on cleaning, stocking, and preparing the store for the day ahead. This role is ideal for individuals who can stay productive, work independently, and pay close attention to detail, ensuring the store runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

(varies by shift)

Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately Restock shelves and displays (rotate stock and check expiry dates) Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store Assist with lottery and tobacco sales Support team members and follow store policies Ensure the store is prepared for seamless operations Support a safe and secure environment overnight (Backshift) Stay productive between rushes by completing tasks such as: Washroom maintenance and hourly checks Refreshing coffee and food areas Emptying inside and outside garbage bins

Please note

Backshift earns an additional $1 premium on top of their hourly between 12am and 5am.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour
