Key Responsibilities

Assist with the daily operations of the storage area by following instructions from the supervisor. Efficiently receive incoming goods, verify quantities, and report any discrepancies or damages to the Storekeeper immediately. Actively maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned storage/warehouse areas, ensuring aisles are clear and items are correctly shelved. Place goods in their designated storage locations, ensuring proper stacking and accessibility. Assist the Storekeeper with basic documentation by ensuring items picked match the delivery list. Strictly adhere to proper storage methods for all goods, following company Health and Safety requirements and reporting any concerns. Help implement and follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles when stocking and retrieving goods to minimize waste. Assist with periodic inventory counts, physically counting stock. Monitor expiry dates of products during handling and report items with short expiry windows to the Storekeeper in advance to prevent spoilage. Work diligently to minimize spoilage and errors during handling and picking. Immediately report any observed inventory discrepancies or damaged goods to the Supervisor.
Qualifications

STCW Basic Safety Courses Seafarer's Medical Certificate Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional customer service and communication skills (written and verbal). Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with property management systems (e.g., Opera, Fosse, OnQ). Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Working Conditions

Constant standing and walking throughout shift Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
