Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Ceph Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in Ceph storage solutions, with a strong background in Red Hat, OpenShift, and related tools. As a Ceph Expert, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our storage infrastructure to meet the growing demands of our business.

Duties

Responsibilities:

Ceph Specialist with hands on experience with operations and design.

Experience with Github

General testing experience. Experience testing hardware and other components of the data center.

Hands on experience implementing Ceph solutions.

Ceph Implementation and Maintenance:

Design, deploy, and maintain Ceph storage clusters to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Monitor and troubleshoot Ceph-related issues, providing timely resolution to minimize downtime.

Integration with Red Hat and Openshift:

Collaborate with teams to integrate Ceph seamlessly with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Openshift environments.

Ensure compatibility and performance optimization between Ceph, Red Hat, and Openshift components.

Upgrading hardware such as Dell/SMC/HPE and expanding storage

Performance Optimization:

Conduct performance analysis and implement enhancements to optimize storage efficiency and responsiveness.

Work on capacity planning and scaling strategies to accommodate future growth. Security and Compliance:

Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard data stored in Ceph clusters.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices related to storage solutions.

Collaboration and Documentation:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide storage solutions that align with organizational goals.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Requirements:

In-depth knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and OpenShift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per hour
