We are currently looking for a customer- and team-oriented part-time Stock Person to join the Yurek Pharmacy & Home Healthcare team in St. Thomas, Ontario.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Shows a willingness to assist customers with products outside the department and is knowledgeable of all in store promotions. Keeps other staff aware of promotions. Acknowledges and greets customers and maintains a friendly attitude towards all customers. Uses tact and courtesy when dealing with difficult customers and refers customers to management if a problem cannot be resolved. Maintains the confidentiality of all records as laid out in store operating policies and procedures particularly as they pertain to access, security, and retention. Completes all quality control functions and quality improvements tasks assigned to them. Pays attention to store security and follows store policy with regard to shoplifters. Removes all garbage from the stockroom, breaks down boxes as required. Empties all garbage containers throughout the store. Cleans washrooms and kitchen/lunchroom as required. Keeps exterior of store neat and clean, clearing snow as required. Replaces light bulbs as required. Stock vials and bottles in the Dispensary. Stock bags at the checkouts and Dispensary. Assist with general stockroom organization, including movement of stock. Hangs ceiling and window banners as directed. Performs other duties as required.
Education, Skills and Job Requirements:

Mature, well organized and cooperative attitude. Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with customers and co-workers. Completed or working towards High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in a similar role is an asset but not required.
