Job Duties/Qualifications, Skills and Abilities(QSA)
Control, dispense, and maintain the inventory of tools, equipment, supplies, textbooks, and service manuals.
Coach and support pre-employment and four levels of apprenticeship students. Assist students on a daily basis in identifying tools, parts, supplies, and in parts ordering procedures.
Coordinate and initiate purchases which include but are not limited to supplies, parts, and capital equipment following correct procurement procedures.
Coordinate replacement and/or repair of damaged or broken tools, equipment, and training vehicles.
Manage Heavy Equipment and Truck and Transport (HETT) resale accounts by controlling and completing work orders, and ordering and receiving parts and supplies.
Receive and verify all supply and parts orders against invoices/packing slips and requisitions for completeness and accuracy.
Reconcile credit card statements for HETT program and resale accounts.
Maintain electronic and paper filing system for HETT program.
Maintain Stores' area in a safe, clean, orderly manner.
Assist Program Head and Instructors with administrative matters relating to HETT, apprenticeship training, and contract training, to maintain a positive learning environment.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Parts Management Technician certificate or equivalent training and experience.
Two years' experience in the field to gain knowledge of machine/equipment operation and the tools required to repair them
Inventory control experience, computer experience with MS Office software.
Valid Saskatchewan Driver's License (Class 5).
Effective communication skills.
