This family from New York City is traveling to Salt Spring Island from August 22 to August 31, 2025, with their two children (ages 3 and 2), and they're looking for a nanny to join them during their stay. They're offering up to $45 per hour, plus private accommodation for the right candidate.


Schedule:


8:00 AM - 8:00 PM daily from August 22 to August 31, 2025


Note: They will be in Vancouver for the month of August, so if a nanny would like additional hours, they may be able to accommodate. Please indicate your preference when applying.


This is a childcare-focused role. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


Joining the family in Salt Spring Island and providing general childcare for the two children Preparing and feeding the children breakfast, lunch, and dinner Engaging the children in fun activities, including swimming, and supervising them responsibly around water Changing diapers for the 2-year-old and putting her down for naps Bathing and getting the children ready for bed
The family will be staying at the grandparents' house, and there will be extended family around, including cousins and grandparents. It's important that the nanny is comfortable working in a family-oriented setting.


The mom will also be with the children most of the time and is very hands-on. She is looking for a nanny who is proactive and able to come up with fun, engaging activities in the garden or forest, and someone who enjoys planning crafts and games to keep the children busy, entertained, and happy.


The nanny will have their own private bedroom in the house.


Driving is not required.
