Job Description

Railtown Cafe & Catering is seeking a dedicated and reliable Stewarding Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals committed to maintaining high-quality standards in cleanliness and organization within our catering kitchen. You'll have the opportunity to grow within a fast-paced environment that values hard work and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations of the dishwashing area. Manage and support the stewarding team. Maintain the cleanliness of the dish area, washrooms, and common areas. Assist with the daily cleaning and upkeep of kitchen areas. Oversee waste and recycling disposal systems. Supervise facility maintenance. Develop, manage, and schedule the Stewarding team. Support kitchen staff by organizing and restocking cleaning supplies as needed. Maintain records of cleaning schedules and sanitation logs.

Qualifications and Experience:

A minimum of five years in a dishwashing, stewarding, or related role is required; additional on the job training will be provided. A minimum of three years of supervisory or management experience is required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lead a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and initiative. Strong organizational skills.
