Sterilization/Lab Technician :



To efficiently aid clinical staff with processing instruments through sterilization, cleaning rooms, and staying on schedule. Follows mandatory IPAC guidelines when working with any contaminated rooms, instruments, or other. Responsible for the fabrication and timely completion of in house lab cases, including but not limited to: essix retainers, neuromuscular models, nightguards, indirect bonding trays, whitening trays, and sports guards (training provided). Employs self-managing/critical thinking skills when presented with technical issues, while utilizing the most appropriate available resources. Is clean, efficient, responsible, organized, and has a positive attitude.

Job Responsibilities:



1. Ensure sterilization has been opened properly by the clinical team
2. Document sterilizer test results
3. Help the clinical team clean rooms in an efficient manner
4. Process instruments through the sterilization area, while strictly abiding IPAC protocol
5. 3D print and fabricate in-house labs during your scheduled time to do so
6. When encountering issues, technical or other, use self-managing/critical thinking skills to problem solve. Report to your team lead (including pictures if applicable).
7. Help clinical team members close their rooms
8. Complete closing duties and leave a clean workspace for the next day

-IPAC Core Competencies

-Reprocessing in Community Health Care Settings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
