Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Steel Structure Estimator located in Coquitlam, BC. The Steel Structure Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for structural steel projects, reviewing project specifications, and collaborating with the engineering and construction teams. The role involves analyzing blueprints, conducting material takeoffs, and preparing bid proposals.

Qualifications

- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in cost estimating, material takeoffs, and preparing bid proposals

- Strong understanding of structural steel and miscellaneous metals fabrication and construction processes

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications

- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills

- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and construction teams

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Experience with estimating software and tools

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
