: Steel Structure Erector & Installer

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled

Steel Structure Erector & Installer

to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and teamwork. You'll play a key role in erecting and installing a wide range of steel components--including both

structural steel

and

miscellaneous metals

such as stairs, ladders, railings, and platforms--on commercial and industrial projects throughout Calgary and the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Erection and installation of structural steel frameworks for buildings and industrial facilities Installation of miscellaneous metal components such as staircases, guardrails, ladders, and platforms Reading and interpreting blueprints, shop drawings, and erection plans Rigging, hoisting, and aligning steel components with precision Operating power tools, cranes, and other equipment safely and effectively Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site Collaborating with other crew members, supervisors, and site coordinators to meet deadlines and project specifications

Qualifications and Requirements:

Certified Ironworker - Journeyperson status required

Full tickets

for both structural steel and miscellaneous metals

Red Seal Certification

(strongly preferred)

Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience

in steel erection and installation Proven knowledge of rigging, bolting, and welding practices Strong understanding of job site safety, including fall protection and hazard assessments Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding conditions Detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team Must supply personal hand tools and steel-toe boots

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.79-$45.79 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
