Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Steel Roofer

with a strong background in both

exposed fastener

and

standing seam

steel roofing systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-quality roof installation, with the ability to work independently or as part of a crew. Experience with

cedar shake

and

Enviroshake

systems is considered a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Install steel roofing systems, including both exposed fastener and standing seam panels Perform removal of existing roofing materials where necessary Install synthetic underlayments, strapping, and appropriate flashings Fabricate and install custom trims to specification Ensure all work is completed to code, manufacturer guidelines, and safety standards Diagnose and repair roofing issues as needed Maintain a clean and organized worksite Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients

Qualifications:

experience installing steel roofing systems Proficient in both exposed fastener and standing seam applications Experience with cedar shake and/or Enviroshake is an asset Strong knowledge of roof ventilation, underlayments, and flashing techniques Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions Comfortable using hand and power tools, including metal shears and brakes Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Fall protection and working at heights certifications (or willingness to obtain)
