We are looking for an experienced full-time Steel Fabricator to join our team! Our busy steel fabricating shop requires a highly motivated individual who is familiar with structural and miscellaneous metal installations to oversee the day to day running of our facility and yard. We fabricate and install structural and miscellaneous items such as columns, beams, stairs, canopies, railings, and brackets - virtually anything for the construction industry in the commercial and light industrial space. Reporting to our Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all the fabrication work needed for all of our projects.
Specific Duties Include:
o Reading shop drawings
o Assembling, fabricating and welding structural and Miscellaneous Metals
o Willing to erect steel as needed
Skills & Experience (required)
Minimum 2 years Fabrication experience on structural & miscellaneous metals
Second year fabrication ticket
Active CWB tickets MCAW/FCAW
Aluminum and Stainless experience (preferred)
Reliable transportation and valid BC Driver's License REQUIRED.
Flexibility with working overtime and weekends.
Experience working in a shop with an ERP system preferred
