We are seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our dynamic team as a supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and construction, with the ability to work in various environments. As an Ironworker, you will be responsible for assembling and installing metal structures, ensuring safety and quality standards are met throughout the process.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Fabricate and assemble metal structures using plasma cutting, welding, and hand tools. Operate power tools and rigging equipment safely to lift and position heavy materials. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Perform regular maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Ironworker or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in plasma cutting, welding techniques, and operating power tools. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Familiarity with rigging practices and crane operations is preferred. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions while adhering to safety guidelines. Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
