Status Card Admin Coordinator/Status Card Processor- Support Clerk
Salary:
$59,336 - $74,169 - $81,586 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract:
Temporary - until March 31, 2026
Hours:
37.5 hours (core hours Mon-Fri 9am-3pm)
Location:
Metro Vancouver offices - located on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, including the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil- Waututh Nations - Onsite.
About the role
As the Status Card Administrative Processor / Support Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting First Nations clients in submitting applications for the Secure Certificate of Indian Status (SCIS) to Indigenous Services Canada (ISC). You will provide direct support, in-person and virtually, to clients by guiding them through the application process, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately, and facilitating access to status card services, answering inquiries and addressing concerns. As well as you will provide administrative support for implementation of plans, systems, processes and procedures for Status cards. In addition to, you will engage with First Nations individuals both in Metro Vancouver and in remote communities throughout British Columbia, requiring periodic travel to designated locations.
About you
Education
Diploma in business administration or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
E
xperience and operational requirements
3-5 years progressively responsible administrative experience
Experience working with BC First Nations communities and/or organizations in an administrative
Experience handling sensitive and confidential information and matters in a trusted and responsible manner
Valid driver's license
Willingness and ability to work overtime, as required
Knowledge and ability
Advanced knowledge of MS office - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Access
Cultural competency and understanding of First Nations perspectives and experiences
You may have experience in; Government Licensing Clerk, HR Coordinator/Admin Assistant, Hospital Admissions Clerk

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
