Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:




This is a full-time hourly position with a minimum of 40 hours per week expected. Due to the seasonal nature of our business, and the direct impact of weather on our operation, hours of work are to be flexible with additional hours possibly required during certain weather events.





Duties and Responsibilities:



Proactively foster a learning safety culture by modeling a safe work ethic and promoting the value of open reporting and shared safety responsibility. Follow all safety policies, standards, and procedures in order to achieve a safe and healthy work environment for all staff, customers, and visitors. Similarly support Inland's environmental commitments by helping to limit our organization's impact on the ecosystem; Actively promote adherence to and hold site employees accountable for leading safety and regulatory compliance with all local, provincial and federal rules and regulations. HAVE ZERO TOLERANCE FOR UNSAFE ACTS!; Assist with recruitment activities for front-line positions including but not limited to screening resumes, pre-screening candidates, scheduling interviews, performing interviews and checking references; Abide by Inland's procedural handbooks, operational plans, and directives of management to ensure that all work is done according to specifications and/or regulations; Coordinate the onboarding process including processing new-hire paperwork, organizing badging process and forwarding documents to corporate Human Recourses department; Verify certifications of all new and returning staff and ensure they receive all operational training, recurrent training, and Health and Safety training as well as update employee training records; Ensure all employee information is kept up-to-date and maintain employee files; Assist in the completing of employee forms, including PAFs, employee information form, employee attendance form, etc. and ensuring all proper signatures are obtained; Responsible for employee schedule input into HR information system and managing the employee timecard system to ensure all timecards are processed timely and accurately for each payroll cycle; Assist managers and supervisors with staff scheduling as required; Assist managers and supervisors with procurement and purchasing needs, including creating, expediting, and processing purchase orders and requisitions, receiving, invoices, etc; Assist managers and supervisors with operational systems reporting, inventory management and fluid production, such as Icelink, deicing and pad management reports, fluid processing reporting, blending quality control sheets, etc; Become qualified in ADF and FlightBloo blending procedures, and, when operationally necessary, perform ADF and FlightBloo blending and retain fluid samples; Assist managers, supervisors, and maintenance teams with work order and maintenance tracking, reporting, and communications, as necessary; Ensure all reporting, record-keeping and communications are complete, accurate and timely as per company policies; Work cooperatively with all team members and external stakeholders involved in the completion of assigned duties; Interface with all divisions of Inland to ensure a smooth season; Promote the best interest of the company by fostering goodwill and support between IDS and its customers ensuring that Inland's policy of superior service and satisfaction are met; Understand and promote the Company's mission statement, values and strategic goals; Foster a team environment and create a "group culture"; Drive and maintain a high level of efficiency and productivity; To accomplish any other tasks that may, from time to time, be assigned by management.

Required Skills, and Experience:



High school diploma or equivalent; Previous administration experience; Successful completion of all classroom and on-the-job training; Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to listen to others and value opinions, interpret information, promote and execute ideas, prepare reports and presentations, lead groups and provide foundation of open communication; Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs including Outlook, Word and Excel and the ability to use Inland's independent computer programs such as "IceLink", and any other programs that may be utilized; Ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines and must be detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize; and attend/participate in meetings presenting a team player approach; Ability to interpret documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure within fixed time constraints; Ability to exhibit sound judgement and confidentiality; Willing to learn new skills and adapt to change in order to support the growth of the company and meet needs of customers.

Valid Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit (AVOP); Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC);

Physical Demands:



It is expected that the candidate be physically fit and able to assist with any operational requirements; Position involves remaining seated for extended periods of time using a computer, keyboard and mouse; Must be able to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; Must be able to speak clearly and hear efficiently; Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus; * Wearing of personal protective equipment and full mobility allowing for freedom of movement in high-risk environment.
