Primero est a la recherche d'un(e)

stagiaire en ingenierie des structures

des janvier 2026. Il s'agit d'une occasion unique de rejoindre une equipe talentueuse et de participer a la croissance et au succes de Primero. Primero est une entreprise fondee en Australie en 2011, presente a Montreal depuis 2016. Nous avons etendu nos activites a Houston en 2022 et a Toronto en 2023, renforcant ainsi notre presence nord-americaine. Nous sommes specialises en conception, approvisionnement et gestion de construction d'usines de traitement des minerais.

Votre mission :

Au cours de ce stage, vous apporterez un soutien technique a la conception de structures et fondations en acier et en beton, conformement aux exigences des projets, sous la supervision du Lead CSA Montreal.

Principales responsabilites:

Aider a la preparation des calculs, schemas, specifications, fiches techniques, enonces de travaux, listes et autres documents / rapports d'ingenierie. Fournir l'information necessaire aux dessinateurs pendant les activites de conception afin de s'assurer que les livrables repondent aux exigences d'ingenierie. Aider les dessinateurs dans le developpement des modeles 2D et 3D a l'aide d'outils de CAD/DAO (Autodesk Advanced Steel 2D et 3D). Specifier les composants structuraux et les modifications pour assurer la conformite a la conception technique et aux performances requises. Se familiariser avec les normes et les codes reglementaires applicables. Collaborer avec les ingenieurs et autres membres du personnel pour suivre/developper des procedures de maintenance et de securite, mettre en oeuvre la strategie de conception et fournir/ rechercher de l'information technique. Soutenir la construction et l'installation afin d'assurer la conformite des ouvrages aux plans et specifications Contribuer a la preparation de rapports d'avancement mensuels, presentations, etc. Participer aux reunions du projet et d'equipe.

Profil recherche :

Derniere annee d'un baccalaureat en genie civil. Interet ou experience en conception structurale et dans l'industrie miniere. Bilingue (francais/anglais) idealement. Excellentes competences en communication verbale et ecrite (anglais et francais) Capacite a lire et interpreter des plans de conception, schemas et autres dessins d'ingenierie. Maitrise de Microsoft Office; atouts : STAAD.Pro, Mathcad, outils de gestion de projet (Primavera P6, MS Project). Curieux(se), pratique, motive(e) a apprendre. Esprit d'equipe, attitude positive, flexibilite. Orientation details et envie de resoudre des problemes concrets en collaboration. Capacite a gerer le stress et les exigences liees aux changements continus. Rigueur et souci de cloturer les taches. Disponibilite en presentiel a notre bureau du centre-ville de Montreal, du lundi au vendredi.

Conditions :

Stage remunere a temps plein (40 h/semaine) - env. 15 semaines. Doit etre realise dans le cadre d'un programme de stage reconnu par l'universite. Doit etre legalement autorise a travailler au Canada. Comite social, code vestimentaire decontracte, excellent cafe et fruits frais chaque jour. Acces gratuit a la salle de sport de l'immeuble. Possibilite d'emploi a temps plein a l'issue du stage.

Your mission:

During this internship, you will provide technical support in the design of steel and concrete structures and foundations in accordance with project requirements under the supervision of the Lead CSA Montreal.

Key responsibilities :

Assist in the preparation of calculations, schematics, specifications, datasheets, scopes of work, lists and other engineering documentation / reports. Provide information to draftspersons during design activities to ensure flowsheet output meets engineering requirements. Assist drafters in developing the design of structures using computer-aided design/drafting tools (Autodesk Advanced Steel 2D and 3D). Specify structural components and modifications to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications. Familiarize with statutory standards and codes. Confer with engineers and other personnel to follow/develop maintenance and safety procedures, implement design strategy, and provide/research technical information. Assist and provide support during construction and installation, to ensure that structures are installed according to drawings and specifications Assist in the preparation of monthly engineering status reports, presentations. Participate in project and team's meetings.

What We're Looking For:

Last year completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Interest or experience in structural design and mining industry. Bilingual (French/English) is ideal Ability to read and interpret design drawings, schematics and other engineering drawings. Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, Staad.Pro (an asset), Mathcad (an asset), project management tools - Primavera P6 and MS Project (an asset). Curious, hands-on, and motivated to learn Driven to learn and gain new experience, flexible and positive. Teamwork attitude. Detail-oriented and eager to solve real problems as part of a collaborative team Ability to handle stress and demands of continuous change. Focused on details and closing out works. Available to work in-person at our Downtown Montreal office, Monday to Friday

Internship Conditions :

Paid full-time (40 hours/week) internship (approx. 15 weeks) Must be completed as part of a university-recognized internship program Must be legally entitled to work in Canada Social committee, casual dress code, great coffee and fresh fruit daily Free access to the building's gym. Possibility of full-time employment after internship
