Afin de bien soutenir la recherche de pointe, le Mila procxc3xa8de prxc3xa9sentement xc3xa0 une analyse approfondie des besoins en infrastructures de calcul.En tant que stagiaire dans l'xc3xa9quipe d'Innovation et Dxc3xa9veloppement (I+D) xc3xa0 Mila, votre mandat sera de comptabiliser les infrastructures de calcul scientifique xc3xa0 travers le monde afin d'xc3xa9tablir un inventaire des ressources de calcul disponible xc3xa0 la recherche. Ce projet s'inscrit dans une documentation plus large des besoins en calcul xc3xa0 Mila et de son positionnement xc3xa0 l'xc3xa9chelle mondiale. Vous contribuerez xc3xa0 la rxc3xa9daction de ce rapport en collaboration avec plusieurs membres de l'xc3xa9quipe (I+D).Responsabilitxc3xa9s

• Collecter des donnxc3xa9es xc3xa0 propos d'infrastructures de calcul scientifique;

In order to properly support cutting-edge research, Mila is currently carrying out an in-depth analysis of computing infrastructure needs.As an intern in the Innovation and Development (I+D) team at Mila, your mandate will be to gather data about scientific computing infrastructures around the world in order to establish an inventory of computing resources available for research. This project is part of a broader documentation of the computing needs at Mila and its positioning on a global scale. You will contribute to the writing of this report in collaboration with several members of the team (I+D).Responsibilities

• Collect data about scientific computing infrastructures;
• Data analysis and presentation;
• Participation in writing a report in English.

Requirements

• Fluency in English (oral and written);
• Mastery of the Google software suite (google doc and spreadsheet);
• Have good interpersonal skills;
• Good skills to work independently;
• Knowledge of computing infrastructures (a plus);
• Knowledge of the global AI research ecosystem (a plus).
