Les incontournables :

• \xc3\x8atre inscrit dans une universit\xc3\xa9 canadienne pendant toute la dur\xc3\xa9e de votre stage.

Environnement de travail

Quel est mon type de r\xc3\xb4le:

Possibilit\xc3\xa9 de travaill\xc3\xa9 sur un horraire hybride et de faire du t\xc3\xa9l\xc3\xa9-travail. Doit cependant \xc3\xaatre 3 jours par semaine sur le site au minimum. Horaire du lundi au vendredi pour un total de 37.5h/semaine.

The organization is looking for a dynamic, creative and organized individual who wants to contribute to the achievement of P&WC business objectives through the manufacturing and development of high-quality aeronautic parts. The candidate will be paired with a Manufacturing Engineer and will participate in meetings, interactions with staff, as well as decision-making related to various projects while benefiting from the support of an experimented team.

What your day to day will look like:

• Participate in the daily Manufacturing Engineering tasks of the Engine Center
• Participate in automation projects
• defining the different needs related to projects
• market review
• Seeking for solutions
• Participate in continuous improvement activities
• Submission Requests for equipment acquisition
• Budget preparation for manufacturing projects
• Technical writing

What you need to be successful:

Must haves:

• Be eligible to work in Canada
• Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
• Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
• A good knowledge of the French language, both written and spoken
• Mastery of basic office software (mainly: Excel, Outlook, One Note)
• Currently pursuing studies in Engineering, Operations and Production Management (OM) or any other relevant fields.
• Reading technical drawings

Assets:

• Autonomy, leadership, sense of priorities and initiative.
• Experience with 3D design software
• Experience in Automation
• Experience in a manufacturing company, lean manufacturing principle, SAP software, Experience in change management
• A good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, is required for this the operational needs of the Employer and the people with whom the candidate will interact

Work Environment

What my role type is:
Possibility of working a hybrid schedule and do some teleworking. Must however be at the minimum on site 3 days per week. Schedule is from Monday to Friday for a total of 37.5 hours/week.
