The Children's Therapy and Family Resource Centre (CTFRC) has provided services for children in the Kamloops, BC area since 1991. CTFRC has a

term, full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position

available to start immediately (37.5 hours per week). This is a temporary (term) position covering a leave, with the potential to become permanent.

The successful applicant will work with children with special needs, aged birth-to-school entry (age 5), and their families. Services are provided in a family-centered, community outreach model. Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory. Recent grads are encouraged to apply as mentoring will be provided as well as opportunities for further education.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent qualification. Membership (or eligible membership) in the College of Health Care Professionals of British Columbia. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required. Clearance of a Criminal record check required upon hiring. Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
