Role SummaryThis position is for Connectivity SW team. In this role you will be responsible for Bluetooth connectivity. Role includes adding new Bluetooth Profiles/Features, bug fixing, working with chip vendors and other cross-functional teams. In addition to SW development, you are responsible for integration and automation of the feature.
Responsibilities\xc2\xb7 Design and implement Bluetooth applications/profiles and features on Linux and Android platforms.\xc2\xb7 Develop systems software architecture for Bluetooth and BLE profiles.\xc2\xb7 Collaborate closely with and work Media platform, Media applications and Audio tuning to deliver a great Bluetooth audio experience.\xc2\xb7 Write Python based automation for Bluetooth end-to-end testing.\xc2\xb7 Work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders across several teams to test, debug and deliver robust software solutions.\xc2\xb7 Instill a culture of engineering excellence within and beyond the team.
Qualifications\xc2\xb7 BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field\xc2\xb7 Strong technical competence in Bluetooth BR/EDR and Bluetooth Low Energy embedded systems\xc2\xb7 Expert knowledge in Bluetooth applications and Android Applications\xc2\xb7 Experience with Bluetooth stacks such as Bluedroid and BlueZ\xc2\xb7 4+ years developing firmware in C++, Java, Android Application development and Python\xc2\xb7 Experience with serial protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, etc\xc2\xb7 Hands-on debugging skills with test equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, Bluetooth sniffer, etc)Additional preferred skills:\xc2\xb7 Experience with automotive protocols, such as CAN\xc2\xb7 Design and implementation of secure bootloaders and OTA procedure\xc2\xb7 Experience with build infrastructure (make, Scons, Jenkins, etc)
Pay DisclosureSalary Range for British Columbia Based Applicants: $137,300- $171,600 CAD (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust supplementary medical/Rx, dental, and vision insurance employees, their source or domestic partner, and children.
