Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring a welcoming and supportive experience for all patients.
Perform professional dispensing duties in accordance with federal and provincial regulations.
Administer injections and vaccinations safely and effectively, following current clinical guidelines.
Assess, prescribe, and manage treatments for eligible conditions for Minor Ailments (must have certification).
Offer counseling and education on prescription medications, over the counter products, and health management.
Support patient adherence through services such as blister packaging, med checks, and chronic disease management.
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain workflow efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance.
Build positive relationships with patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers.
Qualifications
Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with Ontario College of Pharmacists.
Injection training and certification required.
Minor Ailments Certification required.
Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to continuing education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism.
Proven ability to work both individually and as part of a collaborative team.
A friendly, approachable demeanor with a genuine passion for patient-centered care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53.00-$55.00 per hour
