We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This position requires expertise in various areas, including pediatrics and acute care, as well as a strong understanding of medical terminology and medication administration.
Duties
Dispense medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to all legal and regulatory guidelines.
Provide comprehensive patient care by counseling patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized medication plans for patients.
Conduct medication therapy management reviews to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and medication administration.
Monitor patient progress and adjust medication regimens as necessary in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Educate patients and their families on health management strategies related to their medications.
Stay updated on new medications, treatments, and best practices in pharmacy care.
Requirements
Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
