We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring optimal patient care through effective medication management and collaboration with healthcare professionals in a medical building. Duties
Review and interpret prescriber orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
Prepare and dispense medications, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for patients.
Monitor patient outcomes and make recommendations for adjustments to therapy as needed.
Maintain accurate records of medication administration and inventory management.
Educate healthcare staff on medical terminology and best practices in medication administration.
Experience
A Bachelor of science in Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution is required.
Previous experience as a Registered Pharmacist is preferred.
Strong understanding of medical terminology and its application in patient care.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
